Summer is Winding Down

All these back to school pics is a tell tale sign that summer is now winding down and we’ll be into fall before we know it. And I can’t wait!!

My opinion probably isn’t a popular opinion, but I don’t care much for summer. I’m not a lover of the heat. I don’t like feeling hot and sweaty, and anything over 80 degrees is a nope for me. It was more tolerable when I lived at the lake, but now that I don’t – no thank you!

Now, it’s not like I’m over here hoping it’ll snow anytime soon, but I do look forward to the cooler autumn temps. I always tell people if it could be a cool 60 degrees year round, I’d be one happy camper. I love gettin all cozy in my sweatpants and hoodies, and it’s hard to do that when it’s blazing hot out.

I also like going for runs and walking my dog outside and not having to worry about getting it done super early before it gets too hot. A month from now, if I feel like sleeping a little longer in the morning, I won’t feel as guilty if that means pushing mine or Dobby’s workout to the afternoon. Because it’ll still be nice out!

We’ve got a real hot week coming up, but here’s to hoping it’ll be the last, and it will start cooling off just a touch.

I can’t wait for fall and cooler weather adventures like the ones below.

Okay, so this one does have snow in it. But Dobby loves the snow and I love him, so it makes me happy. 🙂

If you love summer, I’m sorry it’s coming to an end, but if you’re like me, then hang in there! The end is in sight. 🙂

Until next time! 🙂
