Swimming Through Life

Sink or Swim is live! – kind of…

Well, I was hoping in this blog post I’d have all the links for you to purchase a printed copy or an eBook copy of Sink or Swim, but unfortunately, I’ve hit another snag. πŸ™ After the Hospital Hill Run this morning, I was excited to get home and get cleaned up and get to work. I was going to work on getting the word out all afternoon, but my plans have changed. When I got everything set up last week in IngramSpark, I got all the way to end, but didn’t hit submit because it said: “this will now be distributed to retailers, do you wish to continue?” since it wasn’t my publish date, I thought I better not. But, now I’m discovering that I should have.

Turns out, they will be sending me a proof copy of my printed book in the mail so I can make sure everything looks okay before it will be distributed. Which is actually awesome and I really like that, but I wish I had realized that earlier!! Because now it is not going to be available for a few more days. I was hoping I would still be able to get my eBook version out there today, but I think that one also has to wait until my proof is approved.

So, with that being said, Sink or Swim IS technically live today, but won’t be available for purchase until later this week. I feel really bad about it. I know I had promised that it would be available today, and there were even a few people texting me asking if it was live already, but unfortunately it isn’t. Of course I will continue to keep you all updated, and I sure as heck hope by next week I’ll have some more answers! Bear with me, y’all. This is all new to me, too, and I’m still learning. On the plus side, next time I will know and I won’t make this same mistake.

To make up for my blunder, here’s a few pictures of my cute puppy. Cute puppy pictures makes everything better, right?!

Dan took this photo when we took the dogs swimming earlier this week. He is so handsome!
Dobby sure loves his goose! And somehow managed to tuck himself under the rug lol.
He’s always trying to “help” me workout!

Again, I want to apologize for the misinformation. I really do hope I can give you some good news in a few days, but until then, just know I’m even more disappointed than you!!

Until next time πŸ™‚
