I’m back this week with a couple more things I’m thankful for to gear up for Thanksgiving.
First, I want to say I’m thankful for all the friends I’ve been lucky enough to make in my life.
My run club friends are some of the best. I look forward to running with them several times a week and they keep me accountable too. I don’t think I’d be as eager to get up at 4:30 in the morning to go run by myself! They always give me something fun to look forward to.

My “East Coast” friends are my ride or die’s. Alec and Josh were my college besties, and our crew has grown a bit since then. I only get to see them in person once or twice a year – if I’m lucky! But we video chat a lot and I’m very thankful we’ve remained so close.

Dan and I will be going to New York in a couple of weeks to celebrate Alec and Shannon getting married, and I’m so excited to see everyone again!

And of course, I can’t forget about these beautiful ladies – basically my sisters! They’re always there for me and I hope they know I’m always there for them too.

Next on the list: I’m thankful for a job that I really enjoy doing. There’s been a lot of changes over the last couple of months and my job duties have changed a few times in the last couple months as well. I’m thankful for the opportunity to grow in my position and take on some extra responsibility. It sounds like I’m going to get to travel a few extra times with these new job duties as well, which is exciting!
I’m also thankful to work with such a good group of people. We get along very well and they make it easy to keep coming back every day!

Finally, I’m thankful for my health. Like I mentioned last week, there are going to be hard days and things that bring me down. But at the end of the day, I’m healthy, not injured, and I’m able to do almost anything I want to do. I know it could always be worse – and someone always has it worse than we do. So to be thankful for being healthy and that Dan is also healthy, is a blessing I can’t take for granted.
I hope everyone reading this takes a few minutes to think about all the things you have to be thankful for this year. No matter what’s going on in your life, there is always something to be thankful for.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! I hope you get a few days off to relax and spend time with family and friends. I’m thankful for all of you that keep coming back to read my blog every week – y’all are the best!
Until next time! 🙂
