Merry (belated) Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone was able to spend time with their loved ones this holiday season, even if the crowd was smaller than usual, or if it had to be virtual instead. Both sides of our family canceled Christmas this year, but my immediate family still got together and enjoyed the holiday. AND I was able to spend some time with Dan’s family as well.

My Christmas vacation started last weekend, I decided to take the whole week off of work. I have lots of time off to use, so I figured now would be a great time to do so since the semester is over. I spent a lot of time napping and working on my book, and it was very nice to have some quiet time.

Dan and I intended to leave for his mom’s on Wednesday evening when he got off work, but then we got that nasty snow storm that delayed our plans. We didn’t leave until early Thursday afternoon instead. Even though it was later than planned, we were able to enjoy Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with his mom and his brothers. We ate delicious food and watched Christmas movies and enjoyed spending time together. It was a great time had by all! 🙂

Dan’s mom gave me this awesome book decoration for Christmas. I love it so much!!

Today, we got together at mama and papa Reiff’s house with all the siblings and our significant others. We had prime rib – it was DELICIOUS – played games, went for a walk, and watched a movie together. We’ve had lots of laughs and relaxation time, and it was another successful Christmas celebration.

Dobby got lots of love and presents too!

Even though we didn’t get to get together with our extended family this year, we still had a wonderful time celebrating the holiday. Hope y’all did too!

Stay safe and healthy and I’ll see y’all next year! 😉

Until next time! 🙂
