Who else LOVES Valentine’s Day!? I might be in the minority, but I love it. I love, love. And I have the best Valentine there is.
Every year, Dan gets me flowers for Valentine’s Day, and he always writes me the sweetest little notes along with them. I’ve saved every single one of them and I look back at them often. I love the flowers, but the notes are what I look forward to most.
I remember Valentine’s Day back in 2020 when Dan and I first met – we weren’t even officially dating yet, and he sent me flowers and a sweet note to work. It took me entirely by surprise and I loved it! And he’s continued the tradition every year since.
And it’s not just on Valentine’s Day, but every day that Dan makes me feel loved. He makes me laugh every day, he always makes me feel important, and he’s always there when I need a shoulder to cry on. I can’t stress enough: it doesn’t matter what life throws at us, there’s no one I’d rather go through it with than Dan. I hope he knows that. 🙂
I’m going to keep it short today – it’s too nice not to get outside and enjoy it. I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day and tell someone you love them! Today and every day.
Oh – and it’s Dan’s birthday next week, so if you see him, wish him a happy early birthday! 🙂
