Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! Even with Covid going on, I sure hope everyone can still find a fun way to celebrate. I\’m not one to normally get into Halloween, but this year, I decided I would.

We had a number of Halloween events this week at LATC, including a Pumpkin decorating contest, and a costume contest among the students and the staff. We were going to a Trunk or Treat event as well, but we didn\’t get enough people to sign up, so we had to table it for next year. BUT we had a fun time with the other two Halloween events, nonetheless.

I was pleasantly surprised at some of the pumpkins the students decorated for the contest. We definitely have some very talented artists at this school!

First place pumpkin. I thought this was so cute!

Second place. Look at that detail!

And third place! This one was awesome too!

I wish I could include a picture of all the pumpkins submitted, but there were about 50 of them and that would take way too long. I definitely didn\’t envy the judges\’ jobs on this one though. There were a bunch of really, really good ones and it was tough to choose!

We also had a costume contest at school, and I was pleasantly surprised again when I saw how many people dressed up! We had a good number of staff AND students participate which was really great. The entire front office staff decided to dress up as the Pink Ladies from Grease, and even though none of the guys wanted to participate, we pulled in Shane squared for the pictures!

We even had candy cigarettes and yearbooks to complete the look!

This was just too much fun! 🙂

The sass in this pic cracks me up!

And of course, it wouldn\’t be a holiday without a run club celebration! The Halloween Hustle got canceled, but that didn\’t stop us from getting out there and running in our costumes!

\"\"
I\’m sure we got lots of strange looks as we ventured out this morning!

Come join us sometime! We have a lot of fun 🙂

Hope everyone out there enjoys their Halloween weekend and stays healthy and safe!

Until next time! 🙂
