Happy Birthday, Nick!

Happy 22nd birthday to my little brother, Nicki!! If you see him today make sure you wish him a very happy birthday! 🙂

I saw Nicki a few weeks ago when I went home for his graduation, and it sounds like he’s already missing me, because he’s planning to come visit me for the 4th of July! I’ve been asking him to come visit me for like 5 years now, and he’s FINALLY making his way out here. 🙂 I’m looking forward to showing him around my second home and spending some quality time with my little bro.

Just like my sister, Nicki and I were really close growing up. He’ll never admit it out loud, but I know he enjoys spending time with me, and giving me all kinds of crap. Whether he’s throwing me over his shoulder and dangling my head above the toilet, “demanding” I make him sandwiches, or calling me to “bless me with the sound of his voice,” it’s never boring when he’s around!

We’ve had so many good memories, I’m not sure where to even start. But here are a few of my favorite:

Nicki and I always took tons of photos on our high school laptops, and he actually looks like he’s enjoying a hug from me here! :’)

Nicki chose me to be his sponsor when he got confirmed and I felt super honored to be there for him 🙂
\"\"
Every time I get this kid to willingly give me a hug is a good memory!

My favorite photo of us!! Loved exploring Disney with my brother!
\"\"
When we went to Disney in 2014, Molly wasn’t able to join us, so Nicki and I got to hang out quite a bit 🙂
\"\"
All the baseball games and the countless trips to the cities we’ve taken over the years. Always a good time!!

And of course, our most recent memory, Nicki’s graduation!

Nicki, I’m very proud of the man you’ve become, and I’m glad you are working towards something you are so passionate about. There have been plenty of bumps along the way, but everything happens for a reason, and I know you’ll get to where you want to be in time.

Love you bunches little brother, and I hope you have an absolutely wonderful birthday! 🙂

Until next time! 🙂
