Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! I hope everyone is able to find a way to celebrate despite these weird times we\’ve got going on right now. I know it\’ll be a little weird for us here at home without everyone here. It\’s a bit of a bummer that I am finally back in South Dakota for Easter, and we can\’t have our entire family home to celebrate the holiday. But I am sure we will find other ways to make the most of it! 🙂

I was talking to my dad the other day, and we both agreed that it didn’t feel like Easter was here already. We haven\’t been to church in a couple of weeks due to COVID-19, and we won\’t get to go for Easter weekend either, which just seems strange. More than likely we will make up for it by watching mass on tv or saying an extra prayer together. Jesus is the reason for the season after all.

My brother is planning to come home for a few days for Easter, but otherwise we don’t have any plans. I know a lot of people are probably in the same boat and aren’t able to celebrate the way they normally would. Take this opportunity to catch up on projects that you’ve been wanting to get to, or trying a new activity, or just taking the time to do nothing and rest! I know we’ve been quarantined for a while, and maybe that’s what you’ve been doing anyway, but take advantage of it while you can. We should consider ourselves lucky we can stay safe and comfortable at home, doing nothing during a world wide pandemic.

For me, I plan on catching up on some sleep and doing a lot of writing. I’ve loved hanging out with the kids all week, but they sure wear me out! I’ve also kind of been slacking on working on my story for the last few weeks. Every time I opened it up to work on it, I was unhappy with how it was turning out. I did a lot of brainstorming and I think I finally have a better idea of how I want it to go, so I’m really excited to get back to work! It will give me something to look forward to for sure.

I hope everyone is able to find a way to make this Easter weekend memorable despite everything, and even if you can’t physically be with your loved ones during the weekend, be sure to give them a call or shoot them a message. 🙂 God Bless you all, and like I’ve said the last few weeks, please reach out to me if there’s any way I can help you out. I’ve been keeping myself busy and it’s keeping me sane, so don’t hesitate to shoot me a message!

Including a pic of Dobby, because why not!

Until next time! 🙂
