Happy 2nd Birthday to Connor!

We’ve got another reason to celebrate this weekend!! My favorite little man turns TWO!

This little cutie stole my heart the day he was born, and he has yet to give it back. I’ve said from the beginning that I’m surprised by how much I love Connor, and he’s not even MY kid! And it’s so fun to look back on photos and videos from this time last year and see how much he’s grown.

From the first time I met him…
To his first birthday…
And all the way up to year two!

This last year has especially been fun since he’s now walking and talking A LOT more! He can even say “Auntie Megan” now, which is pretty sweet. Last week, I had lunch with Tanner and Connor since they were in Watertown, and when I put him in his car seat afterwards, he blows me a kiss and goes: “Bye Auntie Megan! Love you!” It melted my heart into a pile of goo.

We’ve made a lot of memories with the entire fam over the last year, and it’s been fun to have Connor with us every step of the way.

It wouldn’t be a holiday in the Reiffenberger household without doing a race of some kind! 😉 We went to the cites for a Halloween 5k/10k and we all dressed up as Star Wars characters. Little Yoda was pretty cute!
We went to a Vikings game while we were in the cities as well, and even though Connor didn’t go to the game with us, I’ll always remember this weekend as the time he took his first steps on his own!
Connor LOVES Dobby! Dobby wasn’t so sure at first – as you can see! – but they’re best buds now. Connor will run towards him yelling his name and give him lots of kisses and tickles.
He loves the puppies so much, he pretends to be one himself – he loves hanging out in the dog kennel haha.
He loves his kitty too! Here she’s taking a nap, but he’s sharing his toys with her anyway. 🙂
I wish I could upload every single video I have of Connor playing with Dan. The man’s going to make a pretty great daddy himself someday! :’)

It’s been another wonderful year with this little bundle of joy, and I can’t wait to watch him grow and learn even more in the next year. I’m especially excited to see him become a big brother!!

That’s right!! This is Connor’s last birthday as an only child. This time next month, he’s going to have a little sister! I’m so so excited to be an auntie again.

Connor, Auntie Megan loves you so very much, and I can’t wait to spend the weekend celebrating you!

Happy birthday, buddy!

Until next time! 🙂
