Merry Christmas All!

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone was able to have a relaxing long weekend and spend lots of time with friends and family. I had the whole week off of work and used my time to relax, write, and spend time with my own fam. As well as eat lots of good food!

My Christmas break kicked off last weekend when my sister and brother-in-law came to visit with little baby Connor. We had a lazy weekend filled with so many baby snuggles! I hadn’t seen him in over a month and those snuggles were long overdue.

Love this little boy!

After a lazy weekend, my friend Natasha and I went to the Waker Hayes concert Sunday night. It was SO fun! Obviously he’s pretty popular for his “Fancy Like” song right now, but he’s got a lot of good songs, and he was actually pretty good live. He also seems like such a humble guy who came from almost nothing, and worked hard until he finally caught his big break. If you get the chance to see him, I highly recommend! Great night with great company!

I used the rest of my week off to recharge my battery and relax a bit. I probably slept way more than I needed to, but it was really nice to do nothing for a while. I still exercised every day because that never takes a day off 😉 we even had a Christmas run with WARC! These runners are some of my very best friends, and I’m so glad I was able to share some runs with them this week.

Our annual Christmas photo in the downtown sleigh!

Did some writing this week and lots of brainstorming as well. Finally figured out how I want to end my sequel AND I’ve got plans for a third book as well! I’d call that a successful week!

Finally, we traveled down to Minnesota for Christmas weekend to spend it with Dan’s family. Lots more relaxing and good food and surrounded by lots of fun people!

It felt like a lot happened this week and not a lot happened at the same time since we spent so much time relaxing and eating haha! But I got to spend a lot of time with those I love most – especially my man, Dan! Our second Christmas together, and hoping for many many more!

Hope everyone reading this was able to have a wonderful Christmas as well and spent time with those who matter most. Enjoy this time while it lasts, because tomorrow is never guaranteed. Each day is a gift! Merry Christmas all!!

See you next year! 🙂
