WE’RE MARRIED!

What a whirlwind last weekend was! It was the best day ever, and I can’t believe how quickly it flew by. Dan and I are so lucky to have friends and family who traveled from near and far to be with us on our special day. All of you are a large reason why it was such a memorable day and we can’t thank you enough.

The weather was as close to perfect as it can possibly be for the end of July. It was warm, but it definitely could have been worse! And everything went super smooth with very few hiccups. Even the hiccups that did occur, they were resolved quickly and nobody noticed, so I’m taking that as a win. 🙂

These memories will live rent-free in my mind for the rest of my life and I’m excited to share a few of them with you today. I didn’t have my phone on me all day – I was living in the moment! – so I only have photos that people have sent to me. If you have any, please send them to us!! (Obviously more are coming from our amazing photographers, but I’ll never say no to more!)

First, thank you, thank you, thank you to our bridal party! All of these folks are family or like family to us, and we love every single one of you!
We are very happy with how the event center came together for our reception! I wish I had a decorative eye, but unfortunately, I don’t lol. Dakota Giftware did all our decorating, and they did a fantastic job!
Our wedding favors were these personalized bookmarks, and I love how they turned out. We do have some extras, so if you didn’t get one, hit me up!
I tried to find as many as ways as I could to have Dan’s parents be there for our day. We had a memorial table set up for them at the reception, flowers on the alter at the ceremony, and Dan’s boutonniere had their photo pinned to it as well.
One of the coolest last minute additions was this disposable camera app my bridesmaid, Natasha, told me about. We had QR codes placed around the reception hall so people could take a bunch of photos throughout the evening. We got a lot of fun ones!
My two besties from college traveled from New York and Baltimore to celebrate with us as well. It was a Meg Meg and the Boyz reunion – I’ve missed them so much!
Our crew also grew by a few folks at Josh’s wedding a few years ago. I was so excited all of them came all the way to South Dakota to party. Love you all!
Nite Life Entertainment was the DJ we used for our reception, and they were phenomenal! They had people out on the dance floor all night long, and they were so fun to work with.
Our wonderful photographers, Kristina Pearson and Erin Meland! I worked with both of these ladies at Lake Area Tech and it was so wonderful to spend the day with them and have some time to catch up. Not to mention they are both rockstars at what they do!
Gotta share a couple more of their shots while I’m at it. Can’t wait to see the rest!

Again, thank you to every single person who made this a day to remember. Dan and I both agree that it was a magical day, but we are so happy to be done with the planning, and so excited for our future together. We have a lot of big plans, and I can’t wait to take them on with my new husband by my side!

Until next time! 🙂
