Happy Early Birthday, Dan!

I’m going to take a break – hopefully a long one! – from the ranting and talk about something worth celebrating: Dan’s birthday! He doesn’t love talking about himself, so he already told me he didn’t want to do the birthday interview like what I did for my sister and my dad, but that doesn’t mean I won’t talk all about him anyway! 😉

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of getting to know Dan, you know how absolutely selfless he is. He is always willing to help someone in need and never expects anything in return.

He’s so thoughtful! He always asks how I’m doing and how I’m feeling, and he always asks how my parents are doing as well. We’ve even starting going out to eat with my parents every week, and he’s very adamant about continuing the trend! It makes me feel pretty happy that he wants to spend more time with my family, because he very well could be an official member someday soon.

When Molly and Connor came to visit a couple weekends ago, Dan had Connor in the palm of his hand. Little Con man was just eating it up. Dan’s going to make such a good dad someday. 🥰 I really wish I had taken some photos! But it was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen and you’ll just have to take my word for it.

He’s so stinking funny! Man, does this guy have a quick wit. I don’t know how he comes up with these one liners so quickly on the spot, but he makes me laugh until my sides hurt. And he’s good at taking jokes too. We poke fun at each other all the time but we both know we’re just having fun.

On the outside, he’s a strong outdoorsman and a tough farmer, but he’s soft and gooey on the inside. He always knows exactly what to say and he’s there for me when I need him.

He got me some beautiful flowers for Valentine’s Day! I love the flowers, but I always look forward to the note he puts in there. I’ve kept every one of them because they are so stinkin sweet!!

Honestly, I could go on and on about how wonderful Dan is. I’m definitely one lucky lady and I’ll forever be thankful for him coming into my life.

Happiest of birthdays to you, Dan! Wish I could be with you on your day, but know I’m with you in spirit. Love you times a million! 🥰

Also, we NEED to take more pictures!!!

Until next time! 🙂
