Disney Adventure!
Well our week at Disney has officially come to an end, and we are on our way back to the tundra. It was a fun week of soaking up the sunshine and enjoying all the fun things Disney world has to offer, but I am pooped! We were nonstop go, go, go the entire week trying to fit in as much as we could. Although I had a ton of fun, I might need a vacation to recover from this vacation 😂 there’s just so much to do and so little time!
We hit up all of the theme parks, spending almost an entire day at each one of them. We kicked off the week with Epcot, eating and drinking foods from all over the world. I probably gained 10 pounds on that day alone!
Animal Kingdom has always been one of my favorite parks because I love, love, love animals. It’s so fun to see some of the wild creatures roaming around and animal themed rides and treats and all that jazz. My favorite ride, Expedition Everest, is also at Animal Kingdom And lucky for us, we were able to get some fast passes for it so we could actually go on it! It was a blast as usual! The adventures are endless in this park.
Magic Kingdom was so nice we had to hit it twice! We spent a couple of different evenings wandering through the park and hitting up as much as we could. Unfortunately, there were tons of long lines for the fun rides, so we didn’t get to go on many. But the shows were fun to watch and just walking through the park itself was pretty magical 🙂
My favorite day was Wednesday when we spent the whole day at Universal Studios. It was raining on and off, but that helped keep the people away, and we were able to hop on a lot more rides there. We hit up Harry Potter world, which for a nerd like me, was basically heaven. My brother loved the marvel universe, and we went on the big scary hulk ride multiple times! Overall, the day was a blast.
Nicki ended up leaving on Thursday so he could get back in time to work, but the parental units and I spent Thursday with my aunt and uncle who come down to florida for the winters. It was great to see them and their home away from home! It was also nice to take a break from the hustle and bustle and relax for a day.
Here’s a few more fun pics from our week at Disney!
Overall, it was a very fun week spending time with my family. Wish Molly and Tanner could have joined us, but they’ll have to come with us next time! I’m not ready to go back to work and back to the cold, but I am ready to get back home and get back to my normal routine. I also can’t wait to get my little Dobby boy back!!
Until next time! 🙂
