Wedding Count Down!

MY SISSY IS GETTING MARRIED IN THREE WEEKS!!!!!!! I can’t believe we are almost there, and I’m so excited to head home soon to celebrate Molly and Tanner!

I have never been a bridesmaid in someone’s wedding before, so I am really excited to be there for Molly as her Maid of Honor. I’ve definitely been busy preparing, and after two different trips to the tailors, my dress is finally ready to go; my speech has been written, AND I nearly have it memorized I’ve been practicing it so much. I’m definitely ready for the big day to get here!

You know when you get really excited about something, you start having nightmares about all the things that could go wrong? Probably about once a month ever since she got engaged, my sister has been telling me about the wedding nightmares she’s been having, and some of them are quite funny. Now, I don’t know if it’s because I’m also really excited, or it’s the twin telepathy (probably both) but I have been having wedding nightmares FOR her! Although they freak us out in the moment, they sure do make for some good comedy relief later!

Not only am I excited for Molly and Tanner’s wedding, but I’m also just excited to be home in general. I don’t get to go home too often anymore, so when I do, I really make the most of it. I’m excited to see my family and friends, and get some Zeus cuddles in! It’ll also be a nice break from work and the hustle and bustle of having to “adult.”

Other than wedding festivities, one of the other things I know we have planned for the week is doing the Annual Hump Day 5K. I’ve been going home around this time for the last few years, and this will be the third Hump Day race I’ll be partaking in.

I love this race, especially since my entire family comes home for it, and we have a good time exercising and hanging out. This race is super fun because they don’t keep track of your time, so there’s absolutely no pressure whatsoever. My brother even runs with us for this race, and he usually wants to go super speedy! It’s nice that he takes it easy for his slow sisters 😉 Nate and Tanner usually run it with us too, and we always find something to talk and laugh about. It’s great to hang out and have some laughs while getting a good run in, and I can’t wait to do it again this year!

If you’re in the area and haven’t signed up yet, DO IT!!!!

I’ve got lots of fun events to look forward to and I’m so, so excited. And I only have 2 weeks, 3 days, 21 hours, 40 minutes, and 39 seconds to wait! But who’s counting, right?

Until next time! 🙂
